A few things of note

I am enjoying some quiet on the couch, lazing for a few minutes watching the storm outside and having some hot tea. A few things of note:

Max is spelling out short words in scrabble

Alice ate 1/4 cup or more of guacamole last night

Our family visited the UU church in West Seattle this morning and we all enjoyed it and plan return next week

For the first time EVER we have a cleaning service coming tomorrow morning. Needless to say I am overjoyed.

Max is swimming in the pool with the help of flotation devices.

Alice's new word this week was "glasses"

My ear infection is finally gone!

We took a trip to portland last weekend. It was good to see my sister grace and many of our friends. Some parts of the trip were very hard with the kids, but I'm still glad we went. Shawn and I might each take a solo trip down this spring.


I waiting to hear from a former employer if I will be starting some part time temp work (3 mos.) In mid march. I really hope that works out, we could use the money and I could use some time in a quiet office :)
